Donetsk, Jan 26 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory six times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire six times expending 34 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Fire was delivered at the outskirts of the Alexandrovka and Yelenovka settlements and the Spartak village on the Donetsk axis and the Shakhta Gagarina settlement on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian troops violated the ceasefire three times expending eight rounds of ammunition.
The package of Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
