Donetsk, Feb 6 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 24 times over the past 24 hours firing 615 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 24 times expending 615 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at Donetsk (the Volvo Centre area) and the adjacent Trudovskaya Colliery, Staromikhailovka, Alexandrovka and Spartak neighbourhoods and the city airport, Gorlovka’s Gagarina Colliery and Shirokaya Balka settlements and the Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, infantry fighting vehicle guns, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times firing 55 rounds at the DPR.*jk
