Donetsk, Feb 8 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 16 times over the past 24 hours firing 388 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Friday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 16 times expending 388 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the Volvo Centre area, the Spartak village and the airport in Donetsk outskirts and suburbs, the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya, Gorlovka’s Zaitsevo village and Dzerzhinskoye, Leninskoye and Sakhanka in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times, firing 194 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
