Donetsk, Apr 29 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations on Thursday morning fired 120mm mortars at the Yakovlevka village north of Yasinovataya, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
The strike was delivered from the Ukraine-controlled Avdeyevka settlement at 06:30; nine mortar rounds were fired. At 05:23, Kiev forces shelled the Naberezhnoye village in southern DPR expending six 82mm mortar rounds and 30 automatic grenade launcher rounds. The enemy also used small arms, the DPR Office at the JCCC said.
No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC ignored the DPR’s requests to establish ceasefire by employing the coordination mechanism.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
