Donetsk, Jan 14 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations on Thursday afternoon shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times with infantry fighting vehicle cannons and grenade launchers, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
“At 12:40 and 18:20, local time (coincides with Moscow time), the outskirts of the Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages came under enemy grenade launcher fire. Overall, 32 automatic grenade launcher rounds were fired from the Kiev-controlled Vodyanoye and Gnutovo settlements.
At 14:25, ten BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle cannon rounds were fired from the Ukraine-controlled Krasnogorovka west of the city at the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk.
No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
Earlier reports on Thursday said that Kiev forces had not delivered strikes at the DPR over the past 24 hours for the first time in the new year.*jk
