Donetsk, Oct 19 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired heavy mortars at the Spartak village north of Donetsk on Tuesday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
Fire was delivered from Ukrainian army positions in the Opytnoye settlement area at 07:40. Twelve 120mm mortar rounds were fired at Spartak.
The Donbass contact line situation has worsened. On October 13, Ukrainian forces abducted Andrey Kosyak, a representative of the LPR Office at the JCCC. He is still in captivity. On Monday morning, Ukrainian army units fired at Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district damaging the building of the Donetsk Mechanical Plant. Damage to five houses was recorded as well. On Monday afternoon, an LPR militiaman was killed in aimed fire delivered by Kiev forces. *jk
