Donetsk, Dec 14 - DAN. Kiev army has fired a grenade launcher at a settlement in northeastern Gorlovka, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said on Tuesday.

The strike at Gorlovka’s Bairak settlement from Ukrainian forces’ positions in the Novoluganskoye settlement area was recorded at 11:35. The enemy expended 29 automatic grenade launcher rounds.

No casualties were immediately reported.

It is the first ceasefire violation on the contact line between Ukraine and the DPR in the past six days. In the last ceasefire violation, Kiev forces delivered fire at the Shirokaya Balka settlement area on the Gorlovka axis and the Bezymennoye village on the Mariupol axis on December 8.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
