Donetsk, Sep 6 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired at the Golmovskiy settlement in northeastern Gorlovka on Monday, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.
Fire was delivered from the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaitsevo settlement; 15 automatic grenade launcher rounds were expended and small arms were also used. No casualties or damage were immediately reported.
The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC ignored the “attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire,” the DPR Office said.
Earlier reports said that Kiev forces fired at the outskirts of the Leninskoye village in southern DPR twice over the past 24 hours.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
