Ukrainian forces fire at Vasilyevka pumping station area, personnel in shelter - JCCC

Donetsk, Mar 10 - DAN. Ukrainian forces have shelled the area of the Vasilyevka 1st level pumping station outside Yasinovataya, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“At 17: 15, Ukrainian armed formations in  Novosyolovka-2 fired grenade launchers, large calibre machine guns and small arms toward Vasilyevka,” the report said. “The Vasilyevka 1st level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbassky water duct came under fire. The personnel had to hide in a shelter.”

There have been no casualties or damage to civil infrastructure, preliminary reports said.

The Vasilyevka pumping station is a key Donbass water supply facility servicing residential areas on both sides of the contact line.*jk
