Ukrainian forces fire at southern DPR once over past 24 hours

Donetsk, Jun 10 - DAN. Kiev army units violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic once in the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

The outskirts of the Leninskoye village in southern DPR came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.

“Ukraine has ignored the DPR’s attempts to use the coordination mechanism at the JCCC towards securing immediate ceasefire after each fact of violation,” the DPR Office said.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces opened fire at the DPR twice.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
