Donetsk, Sep 25 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have violated the ceasefire on the Donetsk axis twice over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Friday.
“Ukrainian armed formations committed two violations over the past 24 hours,” the report said. The Luganskoye village and Alexandrovka settlement areas in the outskirts of Donetsk came under small arms fire.
The JCCC also reported engineer works by Ukrainian armed formations in the Peski settlement area north of Donetsk in violation of the additional ceasefire control measures. On top of that, a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was sighted in the Zhabunki village area, Yasinovataya District.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations increased the intensity of fire at the DPR by seven times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
