Donetsk, Mar 23 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire twice expending 12 rounds of ammunition,” the report said. (The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency).

Fire was delivered at the Volvo Centre area and the outskirts of the Alexandrovka settlement in northern and western Donetsk, the JCCC said. The enemy used 120mm mortars and sniper rifles. On Monday, a resident of Alexandrovka in the western outskirts of the DPR capital was killed in Ukrainian sniper fire.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the DPR once.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk*pp
