Donetsk, Feb 2 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours expending four rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms including large calibre machine guns. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Fire was delivered at the outskirts of the Alexandrovka and Mineralnoye settlements on the Donetsk axis and the Leninskoye village area on the Mariupol (southern) axis, the JCCC said.
On top of that Ukrainian servicemen carried out four explosions during engineer works near the Kiev-controlled Vodyanoye village on the southern axis in violation of the additional ceasefire control measures.
In the previous reporting period, Kiev army units opened fire at the DPR three times expending 20 rounds of ammunition.
The package of Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
