Donetsk, Sep 23 - DAN. Ukrainian army units opened fire the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Wednesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times expending five rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

The Shakhta Trudovskaya settlement in the western outskirts of Donetsk and the Leninskoye village in southern DPR came under grenade launcher fire. On top of that, Ukrainian forces opened sniper fire on the contact line near the Mineralnoye settlement outside Yasinovataya, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire twice.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
