Donetsk, Nov 24 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times expending nine rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
(Grenade launcher) fire was delivered at the Shakhta Gagarina settlement area on the Gorlovka axis and the Kominternovo village outskirts on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.
On top of that, Ukrainian armed formations have violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire in Donbass twice since Monday. Engineer works were carried out in the Kiev-controlled Maryinka settlement area; the JCCC also recorded an explosion at Ukrainian army positions near the Vodyanoye village.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian servicemen opened fire on the contact line with the DPR once.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
