Donetsk, Aug 23 — DAN. The center of Donetsk has come under Kiev forces fire, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
Ten 155mm NATO-standard projectiles were fired at the Voroshilovsky district of the Donetsk People’s Republic capital. Fire was delivered from the Ukraine-held Orlovka village, the JCCC said.
According to preliminary information, Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Kalmius river embankment, Green Plaza shopping mall area and Ilyich Avenue neighborhoods.
Earlier reports said “Uragan” MLRS projectiles fired at Donetsk’s Kievsky district carried “Lepestok” anti-personnel mines.*jk
