Donetsk, Sep 16 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 12 times over the past 24 hours firing 71 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 12 times expending 71 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the Donetsk airport, the Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhood and the Spartak village in the outskirts and suburbs of the DPR capital, Gorlovka’s Dolomitnoye neighbourhood, the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya, and the Belaya Kamenka, Novolaspa, Novaya Maryevka, Petrovskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that the area of the Vasilyevka pumping station, a key Donbass water supply facility, came under Ukrainian forces fire.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 30 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
