Donetsk, May 12 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours firing some 60 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times expending 59 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Alexandrovka and Staromikhailovka settlements, the Donetsk airport area, the Verkhnetoretskoye settlement and the Spartak village on the Donetsk axis, and the Shakta 6/7 and Shakhta Gagarina settlements on the Gorlovka axis, the JCCC said.

The enemy used mortars, an anti-tank guided missile, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

The shelling caused a power outage at a poultry farm and damaged a house.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces expended 84 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR areas.*jk
