Donetsk, Jun 27 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 20 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 400 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 20 times expending 401 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Kiev army units shelled the Alexandrovka and Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhoods in western Donetsk, the airport area in the north of the capital, the Spartak village north of the city, Yasinovataya and the adjacent Krasny Partizan and Vasilyevka villages, the Zaitsevo neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka and the Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, the JCCC added.
The enemy used mortars, anti-aircraft guns, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. A DPR civilian was wounded and six houses, an electrical substation and a power transmission line were damaged.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces expended 336 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR areas.*jk
