Donetsk, Jan 25 - DAN. Ukrainian army units fired nearly 400 rounds of ammunition at DPR frontline areas over the past 24 hours, head of DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Overall Ukrainian forces expended 381 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR territory,” Yakubov said.
Settlements on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes came under massive fire and tensions rose sharply on the contact line compared with the previous 24-hour period, he added.
On Wednesday, Kiev forces shelled DPR south wounding two militiamen. In Sakhanka village, four houses and electricity and gas supply lines were damaged. Ceasefire violations by Kiev forces increased by 12 times from the previous reporting period. *jk
