Donetsk, Sep 17 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 28 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 370 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 28 times expending 377 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The airport area, the Spartak village in northern Donetsk, the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in the west of the capital, Gorlovka and its adjacent settlements of Dolomtnoye, Verkhnetoretskoye and Telmanovo and the Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages were targeted with mortars, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, large calibre machine guns and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces delivered massive strikes at the DPR territory on Sunday evening. From 18:00 till 20:00, Ukrainian army units fired more than 60 mines.*jk
