Donetsk, August 2 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 48 times over the past 24 hours expending 355 rounds of ammunition, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
Strikes were delivered at the Voroshilovsky, Kievsky, Kuibyshevsky, Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of the DPR capital, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Novobakhmutovka and Mineralnoye on the Donetsk axis, and at Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevo, Golmovsky, Dolomitnoye, Novoselovka, Novoluganskoye and Bairak on the Gorlovka axis. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery and mortars, the JCCC said.
One civilian was killed and another four were wounded, and 20 houses and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in shelling by Kiev forces.
In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 378 rounds of ammunition at the DPR killing one civilian and wounding another nine, and damaging 21 houses and one civil infrastructure facility.*jk
