Donetsk, Jul 4 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 25 times over the past 24 hours firing 350 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 25 times expending 350 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the city airport, the Alexandrovka and Trudovskoye neighbourhoods in the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and its suburban neighbourhoods Vasilyevka and Mineralnoye, the Golmovskiy, Dolomitnoye, Zaitsevo, Gagarin Colliery, Colliery 6/7 neighbourhoods in Gorlovka and the Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Novaya Maryevka and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 152mm and 122mm howitzers, 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

The shelling left without electricity a part of Gorlovka and the Kominternovo village. On top of that, the JCCC recorded damage to houses in Gorlovka and Yasinovataya. On Thursday morning, Ukrainian strikes damaged a transmission line and the house at 154 Rybalko in the village of Zaitsevo.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev army units fired 670 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
