Donetsk, Nov 8 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have fired 350 artillery and mortar rounds at the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk and villages in DPR south since Monday evening, a DPR defence source told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Ukrainian army units shelled Trudovskiye and Staromikhailovka villages west of Donetsk, Volvo Centre area in northern Donetsk, the industrial zone outside Yasinovataya, the outskirts of Dokuchayevsk, and Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in DPR south,” the military source said adding that Ukrainian forces “fired 350 122mm and 152mm artillery rounds and 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds at these settlements.”
Aside from heavy weapons and mortars, Ukrainian forces employed infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.
On Monday evening, Ukrainian army units shelled frontline Zaitsevo village outside Gorlovka, damaging three houses one of which caught fire.
