Donetsk, Oct 8 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 24 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 270 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 24 times expending 277 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at the Staromikhailovka, Alexandrovka and Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhoods in western Donetsk, the Volvo Centre in the north of the city, the Zhabichevo and Spartak settlements north of the capital, Yasinovataya’s Mineralnoye neighbourhood, the Golmovskiy, Dolomitnoye, Gagarin Colliery and Isotov Colliery neighbourhoods in Gorlovka and the Nikolayevka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR.
The enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.
“Twenty houses were damaged in Ukrainian army strikes at Staromikhailovka on Monday morning and evening. On top of that, a car and the roof and windows of the house at 1 Sadovaya Street in Yelenovka were damaged in the Monday evening shelling,” the JCCC said.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.*jk
