Donetsk, Mar 19 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times expending 253 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Fire was delivered at the airport area in northern Donetsk (Volvo Centre), the Satromikhailovka and Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhoods in the west of the DPR capital, the Yasinovataya town, and the Sakhanka village in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, anti-aircraft guns and high calibre small arms. In Staromikhailovka, two houses in Chakalova Street were damaged by shelling.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire ten times firing more than 80 rounds at DPR areas.*jk*pp
