Donetsk, Sep 24 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 26 times over the past 24 hours firing 235 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic’s frontline areas, Head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.
“Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 26 times expending 235 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the Donetsk airport, the Spartak village and the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in Donetsk outskirts, Gorlovka and its suburban villages of Gagarin Colliery, Golmovskiy and Zaitsevo, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk and the Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR. Ukrainian forces used tank guns, 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms, he added.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.*jk
