Donetsk, Sep 13 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 200 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Friday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 202 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Alexandrovka and Zhabichevo neighbourhoods in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, the Krutaya Balka and Mineralnoye villages outside Yasinovataya, the Zaitsevo neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka and the Novaya Maryevka, Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, the JCCC added.

The enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Updated reports said that a 54-year-old civilian in Yasinovataya’s Yakovlevka neighbourhood suffered a grazing shrapnel wound and 2nd to 3rd degree shoulder blade burns. Damage to windows, roofs and metal gates at 147, 149 and 128 Yasinovataya Street was recorded. Windows and a wall of the house at 6 Slavyanskaya Street were damaged as well.

On Thursday evening, the Kiev army shelled Yasinovataya and the south of the Republic with different kinds of weapons, setting a house on fire.*jk
