Donetsk, Aug 14 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, firing more than 180 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times expending 181 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The Gagarin colliery settlement in Gorlovka, Dokuchayevsk and the Kominternovo village in southern DPR were targeted with 82mm and 120mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers (RPG), recoilless guns (SPG) and heavy machine guns, he added.
Two houses in Kievskaya and Lenina Street in Dokuchayevsk sustained shelling damage.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire ten times firing 159 rounds at DPR frontlines areas.*jk
