Donetsk, Sep 19 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 18 times over the past 24 hours firing 151 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 18 times expending 151 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The Zhabichevo, Spartak, Trudovskiye, Alexandrovka and Losovoye villages in the outskirts of Donetsk, Gorlovka and its suburban villages of Zaitsevo, Gagarin Colliery and Dolomitnoye, Yasinovataya, the Krutaya Balka settlement and the Bezymennoye, Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR were targeted with 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers (RPG), recoilless guns (SPG) and large calibre machine guns, he added.
The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Earlier reports on Wednesday said that two houses and a gas pipe in Sakhanka and Yasinovataya had been damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
