Donetsk, May 28 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 14 times expending 143 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the Spartak, Trudovskaya Colliery and Alexandrovka neighbourhoods and the Volvo Centre in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka’s Golmovskiy and Gagarina Colliery neighbourhoods, the Vasilyevka village outside Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk and the Leninskkoye, Dzerzhinskoye and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 82mm and 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. Updated reports said that 13 houses in Alexandrovka, Gorlovka and Dokuchayevsk had sustained shelling damage.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that four houses were damaged on Tuesday morning as Ukrainian army units shelled western Donetsk.*jk
