Donetsk, Sep 19 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 14 times over the past 24 hours firing 114 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 14 times expending 114 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at Dokuchayevsk, Yasinovataya and the adjacent Mineralnoye village, the Spartak and Staromikhailovka neighbourhoods in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk and the Dzerzhinskoye, Novaya Tavriya, Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Earlier reports said Ukrainian army strikes caused power outages in Yelenovka south of Donetsk and Kominternovo.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 80 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
