Donetsk, May 21 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was seven, the number of rounds fired was 111 (of 12.7 mm caliber and higher)″.

Five townships were targeted with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.

All the attempts to reinstall the ceasefire through the coordination mechanism failed as Ukrainian ignored the requests.

On Wednesday, Donetsk outskirts came under fire, two households and a power transmission line sustained damage.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
