Donetsk, Dec 19 – DAN. Ukrainian army units have violated the ceasefire over 300 times firing 3,200 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic since the previous meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on December 4, 2018.

The statistics were presented at the Contact Group security subgroup meeting in Minsk on Tuesday, Donetsk People’s Republic representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

"Over the period from December 4 to December 18, 305 ceasefire violations by Ukraine have been recorded."

Ukraine expended 1.6 tons (32 ammunition boxes) of rounds, firing the total of 3,208 shells.

Over the reporting period, one civilian was injured, two houses and one vehicle damaged.

The most shelled areas were the Alexandrovka, Staromikhailovka, and Shakhta Trudovskaya in western Donetsk, Gorlovka and Yasinovataya outskirts, Dokuchayevsk.

The Contact Group in Minsk held a new round of Donbass peace talks on Wednesday.*ot
