Donetsk, Sep 19 - DAN. Ukrainian army units have violated the ceasefire nearly 300 times firing 4.5 tons of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic since the previous Contact Group meeting in Minsk on September 5, 2018.

The data were voiced by DPR representatives at the security subgroup meeting in Minsk on Wednesday, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

“Today, the security subgroup at the meeting in Minsk largely addressed the consequences of violations of the current ceasefire by the Ukrainian side,” Yakubov said. “Over the period from September 5 till September 19 (since the previous meeting in Minsk - eds Donetsk News Agency) 292 ceasefire violations by Ukraine have been recorded. Kiev forces have expended 4.5 tons of ammunition.”

In the reporting period, two civilians were wounded and 30 houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed, the JCCC said. The hot spots were the outskirts of Gorlovka, suburban Donetsk and villages in the south of the Republic. *jk
