Donetsk, Aug 31 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired at the Donetsk People’s Republic three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire three times expending 130 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of caliber up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.
On August 30, Ukrainian forces delivered massive fire at the Leninskoye village in the DPR south using RPG, SPG, AGS and underbarrel grenade launchers and small arms, according to the JCCC.
“The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC ignored the DPR attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire after each fact of truce violation,” the DPR Office said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
