Donetsk, Sep 25 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 32 times over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Monday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 32 times firing at 16 DPR townships areas,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.
The enemy used tank guns, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, armored personnel carriers guns, grenade launchers and small arms.
The ‘school ceasefire’ has been agreed to by the sides as the new academic year is to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It hasn’t proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized.*ot
