Donetsk, Nov 29 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled frontline areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic 1,882 times over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains tense. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian gunmen violated the ceasefire 1,882 times, firing 118 152mm and 122mm artillery rounds, 418 120mm and 82 mm mortar rounds and ten tank gun rounds,” Basurin said. “They also used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.”
Ukrainian forces targeted Gorlovka and its suburbs Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka and Krutaya Balka, Yasinovataya and its neighbouring Spartak village, Trudovskiye, Aleksandrovka and Staromikhailovka villages west of Donetsk, Elenovka southwest of Donetsk, Dokuchayevsk and Leninskoye, Kominternovo, Sakhanka, Sergeyevka, Bezymennoye and Novaya Tavriya villages in DPR south.
