Donetsk, Apr 30 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 159 times in April, using heavy equipment in 80 shelling incidents, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
“In April, Kiev forces fired 1,293 rounds targeting the DPR, killing two civilians and injuring two others. The total of 22 houses and 6 infrastructural facilities sustained damage, as well as two vehicles.
Last week alone, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire 35 times.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
