Donetsk, Sep 23 - DAN. The Oktyabr village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic was left without electricity and gas supply following strikes by Ukrainian forces, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Monday.

“Yesterday, at 23:00, Ukrainian armed formations in the Gnutovo settlement opened fire at Oktyabr with 122m artillery,” the report said. “Forty two rounds were fired. The shelling damaged a gas line and power transmission lines leaving 64 customers without gas and electricity.”

The DPR Office at the JCCC sent a team to the scene of the incident. There were no civilian casualties, preliminary reports said.

Earlier reports on Monday said that Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 13 times over the past 24 hours firing 186 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
