Donetsk, Feb 21 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 22 times over the past 24 hours firing 260 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 22 times expending 260 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Kiev forces shelled the Alexandrovka and Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhoods in western Donetsk, the Volvo Centre in the north of the DPR capital, Yasinovataya and the Krutaya Balka village, Gorlovka’s neighbourhoods Zaitsevo, Gagarin Colliery and Izotovo, the Dokuchayevsk town and the Dzerzhinskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms.

Three houses were damaged in shelling over the past 24 hours, the JCCC reported.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that Ukrainian forces delivered strikes at the Alexandrovka area in western Donetsk on Wednesday evening and that the shelling started a fire in the field.*jk*pp
