Donetsk, Sep 11 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 12 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 120 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 12 times expending 123 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at the Staromikhailovka and Trudovskaya neighbourhoods in western Donetsk, the Krutaya Balka and Mineralnoye villages outside Yasinovataya, the Zaitsevo neighbourhood in western Gorlovka, Dokuchayevsk and the Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, the JCCC said.
The enemy used mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
Four houses in Donetsk and Gorlovka were damaged and destroyed in the shelling, the JCCC said.
Earlier reports said that two civilians were wounded as Ukrainian armed formations shelled western Donetsk on Tuesday evening.*jk
