Donetsk, Aug 18 - DAN. Strikes by Ukrainian forces were recorded on the Gorlovka and Mariupol axes on Tuesday evening, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“At 18:40, small arms fire was delivered from the Ukraine-controlled Talakovka village outside Mariupol towards the Kominternovo village,” the report said. “At 19:20, the enemy fired an automatic grenade launcher round at the Dolomitnoye village area in northeastern Gorlovka.”

The JCCC also reported other violations by Ukrainian forces. On Tuesday, the enemy used unmanned aerial vehicles twice: in the outskirts of Gnutovo and Vodyanoye in southern Donbass. On top of that, two explosions at Kiev army positions next to Takakovka and Novgorodskoye were reported.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire have been effective in Donbass since July 27, 2020. They ban the use of any weapons, offensives and commando operations, engineer works, deployment of hardware, troop transfer and use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian servicemen had observed the ceasefire for three days running.*jk
