Donetsk, Mar 9 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire three times expending 47 rounds of ammunition (the amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics - eds Donetsk News Agency),” the report said.

Fire was delivered at the Staromikhailovka settlement area on the Donetsk axis and the outskirts of the Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms. On Monday, houses and a transmission line were damaged in western Donetsk in shelling by Ukrainian forces, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces opened fire at the DPR four times.
