Donetsk, Feb 17 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic once over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the indefinite ceasefire once expending eight rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Fire was delivered at the Leninskoye village area on the Mariupol axis. The enemy used an automatic grenade launcher.
The JCCC also recorded five explosions during engineering works in the area of the Kiev-controlled Novomikhailovka and Krasnogorovka settlements.
“No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure were recorded in the designated period,” the JCCC said.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
