Donetsk, May 18 — DAN. Russian forces have destroyed two hundred Ukrainian gunmen and a large amount of enemy hardware on the Donetsk axis over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
Assault groups supported by paratroopers continued the liberation of Artyomovsk, and Russian aircraft and artillery delivered strikes at enemy manpower and equipment in Chasovy Yar and Bogdanovka, the report said.
“Enemy losses on this axis amounted up to 200 servicemen, one tank, three armored fighting vehicles and two ‘Gvozdika’ self-propelled howitzers, ” the Ministry said adding that in the Artyomovsk area, Russian warplanes had flown seven sorties while artillery had completed 72 fire objectives.
Russia has been conducting the special military operation since February 24, 2022.*jk
