Donetsk, May 9 - DAN. Ukrainian forces opened fire on Bezymennoye village in DPR south as the Republic was marking the 72th World War II Victory Day anniversary, DPR Operations Command said.

“As DPR was holding a Victory Day parade, Ukrainian army 36th separate marines brigade, 40th separate airmobile brigade and Azov regiment shelled Pushkina and Druzhby Streets and Zapadniy Lane in Bezymennoye,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.

The enemy used 152mm artillery, tank guns and 120mm mortars firing 70 rounds overall.

No casualties or damage have been reported.

Earlier on Tuesday, reports said Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 50 times over the past 24 hours. One civilian was wounded and three houses were damaged in the shelling.*jk
