Donetsk, Aug 11 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire once over the past 24 hours as they fired small arms at the Novolaspa village area in the Telmanovskiy district in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Overall, Ukrainian armed formations committed two violations over the past 24 hours,” the JCCC said. During the reporting period, a grass fire was observed at the Ukrainian army positions four kilometres south of the Naberezhnoye settlement.”
In the previous reporting period, no strikes by Ukrainian forces at the DPR were recorded, the JCCC said.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures in Donbass came into force on July 27, 2020. A ban is imposed on the use of any armaments, including small arms by Ukraine, the DPR and the LPR, as well as on any offensives including deployment of equipment to the frontline, mining and further organizing of positions.*jk
