Ukrainian army fires 40 rounds at Donetsk, southern DPR area - JCCC

Donetsk, Mar 3 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled Donetsk's western outskirts and the Sakhanka village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Tuesday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“At 05:40, Ukrainian armed formations in the Shirokino settlement area fired five 120mm mortar rounds towards Sakhanka,” the report said.  “At 07:40, they fired four 82mm mortar rounds and 29 AGS grenade launcher rounds at the Staromikhailovka settlement in western Donetsk.

The settlements also came under high calibre small arms fire, the JCCC said.

No casualties or damage were immediately reported.*jk
