Donetsk, Nov 14 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours firing 329 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 329 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
Strikes were delivered at the Spartak village, the Donetsk airport and Trudovskaya Colliery (Donetsk axis); the Dolomitnoye and Shirokaya Balka neighbourhoods (Gorlovka axis); Petrovskoye (outside the security zone) and the Kulikovo settlement (Mariupol axis).
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
On Wednesday evening, a resident of the Trudovskaya Colliery neighourhood in western Donetsk was wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces. The strike also damaged three houses, a utility shed and a gas pipe.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired 147 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
